Joyous trees

This 24”x 48” unframed custom oil painting on panel, is a beautifully whimsical piece that celebrates the play of light over a row of colorful autumn trees along Wood Lake in Lake Country, BC. This area is an ongoing source of inspiration for the artist, who often explores there. The fall is a time of year when its colors come to life and frame all the elements of the region: gently undulating farm roads, and geometric patterns of green fields dotted with trees.
