Last light, Coldstream Valley

This highly unique painting needs a long essay to properly describe just why it is so! It is made in the ancient medium of fresco, an art form practiced by only a handful of artists in Canada. I was lucky to have learned this incredible art form from the esteemed artist monk Father Dunstan Massey. I’m happy to say it has found a forever home in Vernon, thanks to the Caetani cultural center.
