This is James’s first large scale airbrush acrylic painting. In the source photo for this piece, James fell in love with the patterns created on the windshield and the colour red, wanting to show the warm and cool tones. The scene is from a specific location in his hometown of Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, in the downtown area during a rainstorm.
